Family-owned since 1806, it was Philémon Gavoty who founded the estate, which originally covered 400 hectares.

Over the years, and seven generations later, the parcels were divided up, and 50 hectares of vines and 100 hectares of woodland have been managed since 1985 by Roselyne Gavoty-Bonnet, who, with the help of her husband Hervé, is committed to perpetuating the work of her ancestors. Their children have joined them in recent years, driven by the idea of making wines with a precise identity in a place steeped in history.
